I would just advise you to stay clear of anything that has 'sidewinder' printed on it. Those pads are plain crap when it comes to dodging bullets.

Of course the best thing you could do would be treat yourself to a HotRod or an X-Arcade :YEAH:

jesus christ, $40 + shipping + taxes for a shitty USB Saturn game pad ???

for this price you get a DC official arcade stick and a JoyBox to plug it on your PC :D

I've a Logitech Wingman and a Ms Sidewinder on the pc the first is far better ......but these are expensive , I think a more professional joypad is far better!

i have wingman precision and wingman action, they are both shit, unless you like to have random factors like ship not wanting to go in a straight line when you play.

i would pay 100 euros for a saturn usb pad in a hurry.

Imo, NeoGeo old school stick and Dreamcast official stick are the best to play shmups and "fight" games (I mean games like KOF or Street Fighter ^^).

I know guys who make JoyBoxes to plug Neogeo sticks on USB ports.

But if you can't bear arcade sticks, I guess Saturn Pad is the best !

So long,
KZ

there's no way I could get through Ikaruga with anything else, whatever that is..this stick is DA BOMB! :YEAH:

PS : I still get my ass kicked in Border Down...oh well..

PS2 : You would be willing to pay a hundred bucks for a USB saturn pad ? I think i found my new job, joypad importer for France :ganja:
anyone else interested ? :stupid:

saturn 2 pad is everything but shit:
it's DAMN GOOD !

at 40 I consider it.

I have the svc chaos arcade stick and for shooters it's not great
(but it's really goog for GGX ^^ )

on pc I use the thrustmaster firestorm digital 3
(old version, non sidewinder cross)
it's the only pc pad I can stand;
it's not on a par with the best console pad,
it just works.

here in france you find supplies of these old pads in various locations, and it's very cheap (usually 10€)

Old-style stick or nothing. Well, maybe a new-style. As I'm thinking of it, I'm gonna receive my new-style controller in a few days, and as I never touched one of them, it will be enjoyable to see how responsive it is.

Oh, and one of the best sticks around is the Hori II for Neo Geo.
